My name is Amanda/Blix and I'm a gender fluid cartoonist, illustrator and drag artist in Portland, Oregon. I am pulled to topics around dis/embodiment, transformation, joy, the earth and the experiences of interacting with elemental forces in our lives. 

 

I have been making comics and zines since 2009 and have had my work published in anthologies, zines and publications such as The New York Times "Modern Love" column, Hip Mama, Rad Dad, Vision Quest and the Sound Ground Wrecking Crew anthologies.

 

On this site you'll find examples of my illustrative and cartooning work, including some full length comics. I also have posted on this site a few of my songs and information about how I work with people as an illustrator, designer and co-conspirator. 

 

I am available for collaborations in the area of drag shows, illustration/comics, 

performance art and magical activism.
